"I love the inventive process of art. I spend endless hours in the studio developing my own techniques and ideas. My work is a journey into the imagination with the aid of experimentation, risk taking, mistake making and idea merging(putting several of my previous ideas together into one concept). Often times, my daily life and past experiences come alive in my work. My studies of art history also make an appearance. Some of my biggest inspirations are: Duchamp, Calder, Pollock, VanGogh, Kandinsky and Christo-- all of whom developed new techniques or ways of creating art. My goal is to be a unique voice in the art world by creating stunning, inventive and original work."
